Alright, alright, alright… my dearest friends!!
So last week I finally had the chance to catch one of my all time favourite bands live again. And what can I say it was at one of the most iconic and beautiful venues in London (in my eyes that is of course but I’m sure some of you would agree). I was lucky enough to see The Wombats live at Alexandra Palace.
What can I even say…I just love this band and their lyrics and everything…but what I love most about them is their passion on stage! Let’s be honest here guys have been doing this for years!!! But they still are soo full of passion and excitement on stage that it only does one thing to their audience…put them into a uncontrollable stage of excitement and energy. (Does that make sense?)
I guess what I’m trying to say is that the thing I love the most about gigs is that you can see an artists full love and passion for their craft! And trust me I have seen bands and artists where you could fully tell they weren’t in it to express their love for music…they were in it for the wrong reasons! I have also seen those kinda bands who just weren’t comfortable with what they were showcasing on stage (you know the music industry can be a cruel cruel place…trust me I know).
Anyway what I am trying to say is that it was an amazing night at an absolutely breathtaking venue…because let’s be honest walking up to ally pally and overlooking the calm and beautiful London there is nothing more beautiful reminding me why I love this city and this life!
So long so fine, stay sexy and see you soon.
